The Bad

We’d like to see a bit more memory in this model to allow for more high quality recording, although for the average user, this will not be an issue. If you are out on the slopes and need more footage time for those jumps, then maybe go for the Flip Ultra HD Camcorder with 8GB memory. This model does not support HDMI port unlike the Ultra model, so output to the TV will not be in HD quality, unless you copy it first to your computer and display it from your computers HDMI port.

Conclusion

For the money, we’d recommend you consider purchasing the newer Ultra HD model. If size is your thing and you think 60 mins of high quality video recording is enough then you cannot go wrong with choosing this product.
