The LG22LH2000 is a great HD ready digital television very much suited to a smaller room. With a 22inch screen it is ideal for a bedroom or a kitchen. Being HD ready you can receive the new high quality and sound from the latest HD ready channels offering you more quality and higher resolution from your picture.

This offering from LG also comes with Freeview built in so you can receive channels including ITV2, E4, BBC3, and Film4, plus 24 digital radio stations, with no contract and no satellite dish and no additional set top box.

Sound wise the 22LH2000 has a front bezel that works as a speaker, replacing the normal speaker grill. With the Invisible Speaker System, the speakers are embedded in strategic spots underneath and around the front bezel which means they enhance the audio by increasing the ‘sweet spot’ to give a wider and richer sound field. This speaker system provides a clean and fashionable design compared with traditional side or bottom speaker designs.

It also comes with Clear Voice 2 Technology which adjusts the sound balance to emphasise voices and reduce background noise. This is particularly useful when watching films where it is difficult to hear voices over the background sound such as in an action sequence.

This television is also low energy sufficient and is part of the Energy Saving Recommended scheme. To access this scheme products have to meet strict criteria to ensure that they are amongst the most efficient in the market place

Connection wise the television comes with 1 HDMI connection, 2 SCART sockets, a PC input socket as well as Composite and Headphone sockets.

The Good
The television is easy to use and install, has a great picture quality for its size and good sound quality. It is ideal for a kitchen work surface or bedroom as a smaller TV suited to those rooms. There are ample connections.

The Bad
The build quality isn’t the best but at the price you pay this is still a good television for the price.

Conclusion
Not a bad offering from LG. While on the budget side, you can get a better television but expect to pay more. As previously stated would suit a kitchen or bedroom.
