The Sony Ericsoon Vivaz (also known as the Kurara) is not just a mobile phone with a built in camera. Its the next best thing and comes packed with a brilliant high definition 720p HD video recording camera so you can capture in brilliant high quality video on the move.

The Good
Well if the HD hasn’t already sold it to you then how about the fact that you can upload digital media straigh to YouTube or Picasa. The 8.1 Megapixel camera with Face and Smile detection, Built in Wifi and GPS and still only weighing 97g. The Wifi allowing you a cheap alternative to free Internet browsing and GPS for using as a Sat Nav device. Other features include HSDPA which offers a similar benefit to a 3G network that GPRS offered to the GSM networks. It offers a higher speed data transfer with a compatible handset such as the Sony Ericsson Vivaz on Vodafone. HSDPA is commonly known as Mobile Broadband.
A 3.2 inch touchscreen display and runs on a Symbian operating system allowing you to customize the user interface and shortcuts. Also features and MP3 player, TV-out put for watching back movies where ever there is a TV.

The Bad
To early to say as this product is still on pre-order and we’ve yet to get our hands on it, but its tipped to be a hot selling mobile phone this year.

Spy Verdict
If you are looking for an all rounder phone with some nice special features that includes a great HD camera, MP3 player and a touch screen with an OS that is easily customized then this is a great phone choice to go for. If you are looking for Internet access on the move will then this will be more expensive, Unless you have access to Wifi in hotels, cafes etc. We think this will be a very popular phone for 2010 and you’ll see more HD camera phones coming soon.
